ABOUT
THE
MALVERN CONCERT
CLUB In the two seasons 2002-04 the Club celebrated the Centenary of its foundation
by Sir Edward Elgar in 1903, with special programmes, artists and a major
commission. Larger audiences were attracted than for some years. The Club’s
task in its second century is to maintain this impetus and continue to
provide the best of chamber music at reasonable prices, in the comfortable
surroundings of Malvern Theatres, to the large audiences we need for financial
viability. We trust that the
programme for 2008-09 continues to meet our aims. We also trust that all our Members will
renew their subscriptions and thus hold season tickets. Further, we hope that
they will bring in new members and where this is not practicable encourage the
purchasing of tickets for single events. The Club would especially welcome young
supporters and point out the very attractive prices available for Students. We
are a thriving club with 350 members and our concerts regularly attract
audiences of 500. You can support the club by Buying Tickets for our concerts Contact Information
