artist, he will play a programme of music all written in his homeland. The

Trio in E flat, K.498 ‘Kegelstatt’ Emma Johnson became famous
when she won the BBC Young Musician award at an early age and has since become
one of the few clarinettists to have established an international career as a
soloist. Distinguished British
colleagues will join her in this largely Romantic programme.

Ensemble was formed out of the desire of seven brilliant young artists to
explore and perform together in the highly adaptable combination of string
sextet and piano. This concert is
the first of three they will be playing for us over successive seasons, with
gradually increasing forces. |
